Zander Insurance is growing and seeking a highly reliable, adaptable and dedicated Licensed Account Manager.

Our account managers play a vital role in the satisfaction of our clients, guiding them through the insurance process, listening to them, and addressing their needs. They demonstrate knowledge and compassion and thrive in a fast-paced environment, helping clients protect their families. You’ll be doing work you can feel good about as you guide clients through the process of protecting their loved ones. You will also get an outstanding total compensation package in return.

Why Zander?

Right now prospective employees have more choices than ever regarding who they work for, as large companies relocate to (and start up in) middle Tennessee every day. Zander Insurance is a debt-free, family-and-employee-owned agency that put down roots in Nashville nearly 100 years ago – and we think that matters. Our company is invested in the growth and success of our community – we build houses here, support charitable organizations, promote diversity and inclusion, and take pride in protecting families not just in the Midstate but all over the US. We’ve also been earning Dave Ramsey’s endorsement, and his business, for over twenty years! So when you’re comparing how Zander stacks up to the other employers in the area, we hope to make it to the top of your list because, for our organization, 100 years is just the beginning.

What we have to offer:

  • Health and dental insurance paid 100% by Zander
  • Meaningful work protecting families
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan after one year
  • Industry-leading compensation including base salary plus bonuses
  • All leads provided (no cold-calling or prospecting)
  • 5% dollar-for-dollar matching on your 401(k)
  • Generous paid time off
  • Growth and leadership opportunities – we promote from within
  • And much more!

Your role in protecting families will include:

  • Manage an assigned book of business and consistently achieve a 94% renewal rate, and a 95% annual retained client premium
  • Guide the client through the renewal process while updating any new information available on the client’s profile.
  • Proactively contact Zander Clients on a regular basis via telephone and email to discuss current policy and potential changes at annual review, or as needed based on changes impacting the client
  • Contact each client regarding their upcoming renewal.
  • Work inbound service requests on behalf of clients not assigned to the CSR or Claims team
  • Use carrier websites and the Rating System to shop accounts that are on the Renewal Manager in EPIC.
  • Match insurance applications with proper documentation.
  • Process applications through the carriers’ website.
  • Attach all quotes and renewal Team documentation to the clients online file in EPIC.
